vintage knitting tips

If you're a fan of vintage knitting, you probably already know that clothing sizes, needle sizes, and yarns are far different than what they were 50-80+ years ago. As an example, here are 2 size charts, taken directly from some of the books I've scanned:

An excellent resource for needle conversion and yarn information is the Vintage Knitting Tips e-book offered for free by Skiff Vintage Knitting Patterns (and if you share my love of vintage knitting, be sure to check out her offerings!).
