The Louis Vuitton Mahina bag is the latest must-have bag to come out of the Louis Vuitton line. Because the leather is so soft, it doesn’t hold a precise shape. Instead it is gathered under the brass riveting at the four handle points. It then hangs down in a soft curve. The gathering look is mirrored on the sides of the bag. The Mahina is actually adjustable. The sides have buckles that let you gather or lower the sides to create more or less space inside your bag. Therefore, whether you need the space for travel accessories or don’t want to spend all night digging for your keys, you can adjust the depth of your bag to suit you.
I am a huge fan of the trendy oversized, super-slouchy handbags that we always see the Olsen twins carrying around, and this new handbag fits this description perfectly. If you are a fan of oversized bags then feast your eyes on this beauty that is available in the XL size (29.5″ x 12.8″ x 5.9″) and the XXL size (32.2″ x 16.5″ x 11.4″). Or, as I like to call them, enormous and ginormous! The Louis Vuitton XL and XXL are made from soft, luxurious Mahina leather with microfiber lining. In addition a top clasp keeps things secure, and side buckles can adjust the size of the bag.
The Material Girl lived up to her name by toting this mega-expensive moon-inspired Louis Vuitton Mahina XL handbag. This is one of my favorite Louis Vuittons, partly because I’m a sucker for black designer handbags that offer some semblance of versatility, and also because I love the subtle, black-dipped monogram. And how’s this for functionality – the ruched, buckled sides can be adjusted to allow more room. Smart, and chic. Told you, expensive, yet understated with the monogram LV and the large slouch.
